The Knee Pillow is manufactured from 100% polyurethane foam right here in the good old USA.

With our design you get 40% more surface area. The design gives you more space for comfort and stays in place better. Our unique design along with our Ridge Vent System(TM) patent pending  allows more air flow to reduce heat build up stays cooler so you sleep better. The design is also less bulky than traditional knee pillows. 


The Back Buddy Knee Pillow is made from a special hospital grade yellow foam. It is made in a clean room so no foreign particles can get into the pores of the foam. Perfect for allergy sufferers. The Back Buddy has been sold to dozens of hospitals and hospital supply facilities. It has been recommended by doctors all over the country.

This knee pillow is NOT memory foam. It is made from standard polyurethane foam. We have tested several Memory Foam knee pillows. We found that because the memory foam is heat sensitive it compresses flat when you use it as a knee pillow. There may be others out there that say that memory foam knee pillows are nice but they aren't that practical. We like memory foam but not as a knee pillow.  

We don't recommend washing any foam products in the washer. But customers have done so. However we do warn against putting any foam product in the dryer as it can be very dangerous. Most pillows don't need to be washed very often but when they do it is best to use a mild detergent and wash it by hand. Squeeze the excess water out and allow to air dry. Do not wring or twist the pillow as it could tear the foam.

 

Includes a FREE 12x15 Sleeve-style slip-on white pillow case. 
This case does NOT have a zipper cover. Material is a white non-woven spunbond fabric. This is not a contoured or a knit pillow cover. It is a standard sleeve style case that can also be used for baby size and travel size pillows. It isn't the fanciest pillow case in the world but it does the job. We make them ourselves so we can include them for free with your pillow. The case is machine washable but DO NOT PUT IN DRYER. Please allow it to air dry.

Note: Polyurethane foam can sometimes have a slight chemical odor when it is made and freshly cut. For most people it is not strong enough to be bothersome. But for some with extremely sensitive noses it can be bothersome. Allowing the foam to air out for a few days or using febreeze will help allow any chemical odors to dissipate. Remember this is a natural trait of all foam (it is part of the new-car-smell that people love so much). We try to let our foam air out a bit before we bag it but when exposed to oxygen and sunlight foam will turn yellow. If your knee pillow has some slight discoloration that is normal. Additionally, you may notice a bit of foam dust when you first open the bag. When foam is cut it sometimes leaves a bit of foam dust behind. Simply shake the pillow out to loosen any built-up foam dust from the pillow.

TIPS & TRICKS: The Back Buddy Knee pillow is made from a medium-firm grade foam. The reason... support. The primary function of the knee pillow is to space the knees and hips into a better, more aligned position. All foam types, once they have had some wear, will soften a bit with time. With this in mind we designed the Back Buddy Knee Pillow with a firmer grade foam than some of the others on the market. While most people find this to be just the right firmness, not everyone's needs are the same. Some people have found the Back Buddy Knee Pillow to be a bit firmer or stiffer than they would prefer. After numerous comments, customer suggestions, and extensive tests we have a suggestion for those who feel the Back Buddy is too firm/stiff. Now this may sound a bit odd but keep in mind that foam softens with wear. If you find the knee pillow to be too firm try stacking some heavy books (ie. phone books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc...) on the pillow to smash it down. Leave it compressed for a few days. Then try it again. Compressing the foam for a period of time will help to soften the foam a bit. And for most customers this does the trick. 


EASY TO USE:
Simply place the Pillow between your knees or lower thighs (which ever is more comfortable) and you will notice a significant difference right away.
